(From July 2nd to July 29th, but my beautiful friend Jenny and I will be traversing across Europe. If you weren’t able to buy a mug and would like to help [and have the means], I’ve set up a donate button on my blog. We both hate to ask for money, but all donations will go towards buying supplies for the trip [we need a tent once we get there!], having adventures, keeping us from starving, and emergency bail money if the need arises. I don’t know how many times people have to ask you to tag your spoilers. I mean seriously… it’s one word, seven letters, and it saves everyone so much anger.

One - I lost a lot of respect for certain parts of the fandom when they expressed hate about ABC pulling Still because of what happened in Boston. I’m not, because it makes sense. What happened in Boston was a tragedy, and it rocked a strong city. I personally would have felt uncomfortable if ABC had still aired Still. I personally didn’t even think Castle was going to air last Monday because of all the newscasts. Castle is a TV show. The lives that were changed in Boston last Monday are real. And I don’t want to hear any of your “well sorry that I just want to see my favorite show” bullshit because that’s messed up. If you’re willing to put a television show in front of reality then you seriously need to reevaluate yourself.

But now what I’m absolutely fuming about.

iTunes made a mistake. Some of you are watching Still early. Whatever. I have no doubt that some of you are the kind of people to do that. Take advantage. But then you also had to share it with the internet. Put up download links. Make gifsets. Post spoilers.

No. Abso-fucking-lutely not.

I thought it would go without saying how disrespectful doing that is. Not only are you watching an episode that’s not even supposed to air for another week, you’re also disrespecting your fellow fans. Still was an extra episode added into the season. We weren’t even supposed to have it. It’s basically a gift. Do you have any idea how long it takes to shot an episode of Castle? They have to write the script and then they have to get it approved. The actors have to learn it, memorize their scripts. They need to prepare the set and secure locations and get to locations on top of costumes and hair and make-up and actually filming the goddamn episode. Not to mention how much time is spent on editing and creating music for it and just making sure it looks good enough to air on television in time. And, rather than giving the cast and crew the satisfaction of us all seeing it for the first time when it was supposed to air, you took that away from them.

And how fucking inconsiderate this is to your fellow fans/followers. To post spoilers of an episode we’ve all wanted to see without tagging them so we can block them. How selfish it is to presume that you can do whatever you want without caring about what other people see because you have. How inconsiderate to it is to post about the episode because “omg Castle is my favorite show I just HAD to watch still early and omg omg omg S O G O O D”

Because no, no you didn’t. Castle’s my favorite show, too. I’m assuming it’s probably a lot of people’s favorite show. A lot of people who haven’t watched the episode early.

So, if you’re going to watch it, tag your fucking shit.
